Democrats continue to provide late-night "comedians" with their material, and by "material" I mean lefty talking points poorly disguised as jokes.
You might remember one of the higher profile examples of a Democrat helping a late night host with show prep -- Jimmy Kimmel in this example from 2017:
Over the past week, opposition to the latest Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare has been driven by a late-night talk show host who had expressed little interest in health care policy prior to this year.
Jimmy Kimmel’s nightly monologues decrying Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bill Cassidy’s (R-LA) bill became must-see TV, as the ABC host systematically attacked both the specifics of the legislation and Cassidy himself.
Behind the scenes, the ABC star was getting an assist. Kimmel and his team were in touch with health care officials, charities and advocacy groups, multiple sources told The Daily Beast. He also was in touch with the office of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) who, according to a source familiar with their conversations, “provided technical guidance and info about the bill, as well as stats from various think tanks and experts on the effects of [Graham-Cassidy].”
Fast forward a few years and it's clear that Kimmel's still receiving talking points from Democrats and repeats them verbatim.
Here's how the Democrats have been trying to blame Trump and the Republicans for the shutdown Chuck Schumer is responsible for:
Yo Kegseth — learn how to count. Republicans control the White House, Senate, and House. You don’t need a single Democratic vote to open government ***which includes the health insurance price hikes you all want.

So pay the troops! https://t.co/t7HyfZQWLy
Republicans control the White House, Senate, and House.

This government shutdown is on them.
There's is zero difference between what the Dem spin is and what Kimmel's repeating on his show:
Jimmy Kimmel: “A majority of Americans blame Republicans for the shutdown. Republican leaders are still trying to blame Democrats even though they control the House, Senate, and the White House. It would be like Trump blaming January 6th on Joe Biden, which he actually did” pic.twitter.com/MXqbi4GN6i

"Republican leaders are still trying to blame Democrats even though they control the House, Senate, and the White House."
Kimmel's writers could at least try to change it up a little bit.

Hey Jimmy, the bill can't go up for a vote until five of the senators from the bottom picture vote in favor of it, and almost all of them do not look like Republicans.
Then again, this hackery is from the same host who was suspended after trying to make his viewers think Charlie Kirk was shot by a Trump supporter. So none of this is very surprising considering the source.
