After what we saw the last few years (and even during the Obama administration), watching Democrats clutch their pearls over alleged "weaponization" of the Justice Department is nothing short of shameless.
When it comes to former Attorney General Eric Holder, that is somewhat comparable to his current crusade against the "threat to democracy" that is gerrymandering:

Holder has joined Barack Obama in their new anti-gerrymandering crusade, which I've always found to be nothing short of elephant-sized hypocrisy considering how Obama ended up in the Senate and then the White House with Holder as his AG:

The hypocrisy parade continues...
Holder has just now spotted evidence that the Justice Department has been politicized, as evidenced in this video from @WesternLensman, all while Gavin Newsom nods along in agreement like an over hair gelled bobblehead:

The Dems and their water carriers in the media call the Comey indictment (and possible others on the way) "retribution" but what they're really fearing is accountability for all their lawfare. Remember "no one is above the law"? These Democrats certainly hope nobody does.
