After the Democrats showed Joe Biden to the door and then installed Kamala Harris as the party's presidential nominee, it couldn't have been more obvious that the Left knew she'd be a terrible candidate. That was evidenced by the fact that the Dems gave Harris as little exposure to the public as possible, and most of the interviews Harris did were with "friendlies" like the one she did with ABC's "The View."
However, Harris couldn't even handle predictable questions, including this one in particular from Sunny Hostin:
Harris being caught off guard by that rather predictable question made it clear that the Dems were in for a rough final stretch of the campaign.
Hostin now feels terrible for helping prove what a disaster Harris was as the Dem nominee. The show's executive producer brought even more theatrics by saying Hostin might have even ended democracy itself by asking Harris a simple question, culminating in a big Trump win:
"I feel terrible."

WATCH Sunny Hostin squirm as The View's executive producer, Brian Teta asks her about how she "single-handedly taken down the Democratic Party - some would say democracy itself - with one question" to Kamala Harris. pic.twitter.com/odpa29dY3g
Hostin should instead be criticizing the Dems for nominating somebody who couldn't answer simple questions without serving up a heaping helping of word salad.

And then of course "Republicans pounced."
Much of this clip is framed like “this moment fueled the narrative from Rs that Kamala didn’t know what she was doing.” Sunny says “we ask tough questions.” It wasn’t a tough question. Kamala just didn’t know what she was doing. Sunny herself, here, gives an anodyne, no-brainer… https://t.co/nES30HdMjU

Hostin claimed she asked a "tough question" but in the next breath expressed surprise that Harris wasn't prepared with an answer to a very predictable (softball) question.
Can’t believe I’m defending Sunny Hostin but that was not her fault.

Kamala wasn’t prepared for the most basic question and deserved to lose https://t.co/CNKJXyoJkj
Yeah, it wasn't Hostin's fault the Democrats nominated a terrible candidate who received zero votes in any primaries and yet they're now whining about losing "democracy."
It's hard to believe this person lost every swing state, isn't it?
OK, maybe it's not hard to believe.
