The worst kept secret in "journalism" is that the media leans heavily in favor of the Democrats and when a Republican is in office a one-eighty takes place.
For example, when Barack Obama was in office and finished his first 100 days, these were some of the hard-hitting questions he was asked:
During his primetime press conference, President Obama addressed a number of serious topics, among them torture, the flu outbreak, and the struggling economy. There was, however, one light moment, and it came when New York Times reporter Jeff Zeleny asked the president this question:
During these first 100 days, what has surprised you the most about this office? Enchanted you the most from serving in this office? Humbled you the most? And troubled you the most?
I'm assuming what enchanted Obama the most was the knowledge that the hack media was lining up to give him a tongue bath.
Fast forward just a few years to Donald Trump's first term and the attitude of the DC "journalists" was best summed up by jackass blowhard Jim Acosta:
Acosta's drama queen behavior and TDS might have temporarily boosted CNN's numbers, but enough people saw through the BS and Jimbo's no longer with the cable net and nobody else seems to be in a hurry to hire him. Acosta's still lying though because the word "journalist" remains in his X bio.
In other news from Captain Obvious: The co-author of "Original Sin," the book about the Democrat and media effort to cover up Joe Biden's cognitive decline that's now been exposed by some of the same journos who tried to help hide it, has explained that the social climate in DC is much more favorable to those in the lib media:

"If you're a reporter, a White House reporter in DC, and you are going to be really adversarial and tough but fair on Trump, you get like snaps all across town. You get invited to like every single garden party and book party… pic.twitter.com/h5MSGsAM4r
Real Clear Politics' Tom Bevan correctly noted that this is nothing new:
This has been true for decades, but became more acute when Obama won in 2008. The glowing coverage of his presidency, followed by the media's overt joining of the resistance against Trump in 2016 (and again in 2024), with a four-year pause for Biden in between which included…

That's not new, but it has gotten more blatantly obvious and has hastened the legacy media's descent into total irrelevance. Pass the popcorn.
