Kamala Harris and Tim Walz were the worst presidential and vice-presidential candidates in recent memory -- perhaps of all time. But that didn't stop the media from trying to do their part and carry them across the finish line.
Despite all the media assistance for the Democrats, Donald Trump won big time, thereby sweeping the MSM into the dustbin of history when it comes to their relevance.
Tonight was a defeat for the legacy media. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, are dead! Trump should ignore them for the next four years!

However, just because Trump proved the legacy media no longer has control over what people see, hear and think doesn't mean they're going to stop trying. The New York Times will keep doing their thing:
Democrats ran on calling half the country garbage and fascists who literally end democracy, but it was Trump who ran a “dark and defiant campaign.”

Never change New York Times. pic.twitter.com/JuDaoZxP3N
Yes indeed, Trump's "dark and defiant campaign" defeated the Democrats who relentlessly called the Republicans side Hitler-loving Nazis, garbage and so much more. It's really a good thing the Dems didn't run a "dark and defiant campaign"!
It doesn’t appear like they’re taking any lessons from this. Again.

They learned absolutely nothing.

No they haven't. But that's fine. We'll allow the legacy media to continue their long slide into total irrelevance without interrupting them.
Last night the Times did try to hold off on the really bad news for as long as possible:

Now that reality has struck, the Times will go with the angle that the majority of Americans are just greedy xenophobes, as evidenced by this sub headline
He played on fears of immigrants and economic worries to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris. His victory signaled the advent of isolationism, sweeping tariffs and score settling.
The guy the Democrats have been trying to bankrupt and imprison for the past few years is going to be settling some scores? No way! And how dare Trump bring up the fact that people have died as a result of the Biden-Harris open border and many Americans can't afford groceries and energy bills.
The legacy press can't go away fast enough. May their meltdown be a blessing!
