Sometimes I can't help but wonder if the people who run Joe Biden's social media accounts don't like Joe Biden very much. Because if they think they've "helped" the soon to be ex-president, they're sorely mistaken.
This was a from just a couple of days ago and you have to appreciate the honesty:
I'm sick

But still "sharp as a tack" behind closed doors?
One of my personal favorites from the Biden account which is right up there with Hillary Clinton's "happy birthday to this future president" tweet is this that was posted about a month before the infamous presidential debate:
Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) May 15, 2024
Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again.
Well, make my day, pal. pic.twitter.com/AkPmvs2q4u
That's the political equivalent of Captain Smith mocking icebergs just before Titanic set sail.
But in spite of all the wheels having come off the Biden presidency, they're still trying to "own" Trump and only adding to their own embarrassment. This leads us to another attempt to mock Trump that is yet another White House rake stomp:
Man up, Donald.pic.twitter.com/muJjUdmzrc
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) July 31, 2024
Biden got wrecked so badly during the one debate that he dropped out of the race (thanks also to a lot of Dem arm twisting). Now Biden won't be at the second debate that was planned so their pretending Trump's not "manning up" for the second one.
These people are incapable of embarrassment.
You literally dropped out of the race because you knew you were going to lose. Coward.

If the White House's social media team was trying to make Biden look weak, feeble and foolish what would they be doing any differently?
What's even more embarrassing for Joe is he's trying to defend the people who have handed him his hat, are leading him to the door, and will officially sweep him under the rug at the start of the Dem convention.
NEW: Ten days ago, Biden was expected to be the DNC’s closing speaker - and the party’s nominee.

Now, he’ll headline the convention’s opening night — highlighting the work of his WH before programming shifts to focus on Harris.

Biden's role at the convention will probably be even more limited than that, but the Dems will give Joe time to "man up" before they kick him aside for good.
