Does anybody else not remember a time when a U.S. president would just disappear for seven straight days without making any appearances whatsoever?
Like a mountain climber preparing to go for the Mt. Everest summit, time must be taken to acclimatize somebody like Joe Biden to the lateness of the hour, absence of a teleprompter and amount of time that will be spent standing.
That will also more than likely require more than a cup of coffee for energy and stamina, and Biden's advisers -- the more than a dozen who have reportedly been at Camp David for debate prep -- have no doubt been experimenting with what works best on the president.

We'll have to wait until later to see which Joe Biden shows up -- the actual lost looking one that the Dems and media try to convince everybody is a "cheap fake" -- or the one who was so jacked on something at the State of the Union speech that his hands and lips were quivering.
NBC News' Chuck Todd made me do a spit take with my coffee earlier when I heard him say Biden's not as "nimble" as he used to be:

Biden will still be fairly nimble at lying during tonight's debate, and he'll get plenty of help from CNN's moderators.
