Before getting into what Sen. Sanders said I'd like to kick things off with some praise for Comrade Bernie's pal, President Joe Biden.
Yes, you heard that correctly!
When Biden was running for office he promised that if he were to end up in the White House he would be the "Unity President." I was incredibly skeptical about that but I'll always admit when I was wrong. Biden delivered on this:
Unity over division.

Promises made, promises kept:
There’s a lot of division in the country but once in a while it’s nice to be reminded that we can all agree on something. https://t.co/x7ahsoy28h

That's a whole lotta unity right there!
Sen. Sanders: "I suggest to CNN and maybe some of my colleagues here, maybe take your cameras, just for a moment, off of Columbia and UCLA . Maybe go to Gaza, and take your camera show us the emaciated children who are dying from malnutrition because of Netanyahu's policies." pic.twitter.com/Mh2dhQ0YwE

The pro-Hamas protests and riots on university campuses around the country are backfiring big time on the Left.
One way to tell happened when Bernie Sanders focused his latest "old commie yells at cloud" energy on the media for covering the campus riots and antisemitism instead of helping the Left push their anti-Israel narrative:

I'd have expected nothing less from a man who honeymooned in the Soviet Union.
He has never met an enemy of freedom and Western values he hasn't embraced. https://t.co/7IqpX2ik0W

At least Bernie's not afraid to say it all out loud:
Literally asking the media to stop paying attention to the violent antisemites and help him smear Israel more.

The balls on this commie f*ck https://t.co/jSvjqVxGox
Sanders wouldn't like any suggestions about what could bring all this to an end:
They're dying because of Hamas — this cannot be repeated enough.
— Jon Levine (@LevineJonathan) May 2, 2024
If Hamas surrendered, this would all end.
This has always been about Hamas. https://t.co/pOKO4QAsmT
Bingo!
It’s false information. There’s masses of food being delivered into Gaza. Who isn’t sharing it? Don’t blame Israel!

If Bernie wants to have a chat about the reason more aid isn't getting into Gaza he should talk with his buddies (and by "his buddies" I don't mean Israeli leadership):
Militants launched mortars at Israeli forces in Gaza as they prepared for the arrival of a floating U.S. Army pier dispatched to facilitate delivery of humanitarian aid, U.S. officials said Thursday, an incident that underscores the mission’s vulnerabilities. The attack on a “marshaling area” for the pier caused minimal damage, and occurred while U.S. ships involved in the operation remain a ways off shore, said Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesman. The pier is under construction by U.S. troops — though “nowhere near mortar range,” he said — and expected to be put into service by early May.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that if U.S. servicemembers working on the pier are attacked, they have permission to return fire. Gee, that's nice of him.
In any case, perhaps Sen. Sanders should travel to the region and help work on the pier so the aid reaches his pals faster -- unless they attack again.
