There is no greater disconnect from reality than with how the Biden White House says the economy is doing, and how things are actually going.
The level of desperation has been ramped up to such ridiculous levels that we're being told stuff like this:
Secy @PeteButtigieg explains why the Biden economy is better than the Trump economy: “Four years ago you couldn’t buy toilet paper” pic.twitter.com/8h9Uta3jVg
— Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) April 8, 2024
Do these fools really want people to believe that Biden returned toilet paper? Then they keep saying Biden's "brought costs down":
13 million jobs created.
— President Biden (@POTUS) July 3, 2023
We’re making things in America again.
And we’re taking action to bring down costs on kitchen table items.
That’s Bidenomics. pic.twitter.com/dJ0UddZvk5
BS, BS, and more BS. The economic disingenuousness from this administration is off the charts.
Meanwhile, in the real world, here's what's been happening to costs for food items in the last few years, according to The Kobeissi Letter:

Inflation has officially been at 3% or higher for exactly 3 years.
The Average American is now paying nearly 40% MORE for groceries than what they were paying in 2019.
Over 100 food items have seen inflation above 50% since 2019. How is this a "strong economy?"
"Bidenomics," baby!
As part of that, we're also paying more for less:
The worst part?
— The Kobeissi Letter (@KobeissiLetter) April 7, 2024
Thanks to shrinkflation, we are actually paying more for portions that are smaller.
Many food brands reduced portion sizes in an effort to keep prices down.
This is an affordability crisis.
Follow us @KobeissiLetter for real time analysis as this develops.
When it comes to energy costs, nobody is better off. Biden and Harris have been claiming they worked to bring down those prices and that's even more BS:
KAMALA: "When Pres. Biden and I first ran for office, folks told us we have to take on the climate crisis and we have to also lower monthly energy bills."
— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) April 4, 2024
Electricity costs are up 28.4% and gas prices are up ~50% since Biden took office. pic.twitter.com/T2c7jRRdDU
⛽️Gas prices UP $.20 in the past month – all thanks to extreme Democrats’ radical anti-American energy policies. pic.twitter.com/wSQzu3D6eg
— NRCC (@NRCC) April 5, 2024
And yet the Democrats keep saying stuff like this and hoping you were born yesterday:
This investment will help increase access to capital in underserved communities, lower energy costs, and build a clean energy economy. 🙌 pic.twitter.com/TAuMjCTDKz
— The Democrats (@TheDemocrats) April 5, 2024
These people are full of more crap than the New York City sewer system.
Let's also not forget that Biden depleted the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to artificially (and very temporarily) lower gas prices ahead of the 2022 midterms, claiming to have a plan to refill the SPR, and that's not happening any time soon:
WAR: After selling the majority of our nation’s strategic oil reserves to China, Biden has decided not to refill the SPR. While necessary for our defense in the event of war with Russia or China, Biden has decided his campaign cannot withstand skyrocketing gas prices. pic.twitter.com/CBjLLb5ERF

Imagine what'll happen if this bunch gets another four years.
