Here's Who the Biden WH Met With Before Deciding to Kill a Natural Gas Project

Meme screenshot

I say it all the time, but when President Biden took office he promised that the days of "America First" type policies had come to an end, and this week brought with it yet another example that he was not joking:

So, who made that final decision? I have no idea, but people often look at Biden and wonder who's really in charge, and maybe this is at least one answer to that question:

Yep, we're in the best of hands! And I can't say I'm surprised:

Via the Daily Caller:

The White House’s climate team reportedly made a crucial decision regarding a major natural gas project after meeting with a 25-year-old social media influencer, according to The New York Times.

Before deciding to delay approval of the Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2), key climate advisers and decision-makers in the White House reportedly met with Alex Haraus, a 25-year-old TikTok influencer from Colorado who has organized an online campaign demanding that the administration kill the project, according to the NYT. The White House is expected to formally announce on Friday that it is delaying its review of CP2, a development which could be the administration’s first step toward killing the project and putting numerous other LNG terminal proposals in jeopardy as well.

More from the New York Times:

“We see CP2 as stopping the first fraction of the largest LNG build out to date,” said Alex Haraus, a 25-year-old Colorado social media influencer who has led a TikTok and Instagram campaign aimed at urging young voters to demand that Mr. Biden reject the project. His posts have received about 7 million views on TikTok and Instagram.

Among those who saw the posts were Ali Zaidi and John Podesta, senior advisers to Mr. Biden on climate policy. Mr. Podesta is also a veteran of climate advocacy and presidential campaigns. Mr. Haraus had a Zoom meeting with Mr. Zaidi this week and with Mr. Podesta last month to discuss the project, one of several meetings about CP2 between White House climate officials and environmental groups.

It's all just so unreal.

That makes sense because the Biden administration is also a national security threat. It's honestly shocking that the U.S. is remotely intact, all while the Biden WH prepares to battle Texas for having the audacity to protect its border.

Oh, that was a doozy:

Yep, Joe's definitely good to go for five more years! But that's OK because President TikTok Influencer's got everything under control.
