Yesterday President Biden went to North Carolina to gaslight about how great "Bidenomics" has been for America before heading home to Delaware for the weekend. The more Biden lies about the economic utopia he's created, the worse his numbers on the economy (and everything else) get:
President Joe Biden’s job approval rating remains at 37%, tying his personal low, with disapproval at 59%. Approval ratings of the president’s handling of healthcare (40%) and the situation in Ukraine (38%) are similar to his overall rating, while fewer, 32% each, approve of his handling of the economy, foreign affairs, and the situation between the Israelis and Palestinians.
Biden's numbers on foreign affairs are lousy too, and answers like the one he gave while leaving the White House en route to North Carolina explain a lot about the Big Government mindset on top of serving as a reminder that the country's not in the best of hands.
Here's Biden's response to a question about the effectiveness of the airstrikes on the Houthis in Yemen:
Reporter: “Are the air strikes in Yemen working?”

Biden: “Well, when you say ‘working’ are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes,”
I’ve never seen a Presidents’ foreign policy failings so perfectly captured in a single answer before.
Really? Yes, really:

Well, that certainly explains a lot!

"Does it work, no. Will it continue? Yes." https://t.co/zz8QjlujjY
That mindset was in play during the pandemic.
"Are these mandates preventing people from getting Covid?"
"No."
"Will the mandates continue?"
"Oh absolutely... and now we're going to make them more strict!"
When Biden took office the White House removed the Houthis from the list of foreign terrorist organizations. Now, after that backfired, they're going to consider the Iranian-backed group to be terrorists again (while not redesignating them as a FTO).
"Just don't" didn't work, and now the airstrikes aren't working but will continue anyway.
Karine Jean-Pierre and John Kirby will have another "cleanup on aisle 46" to perform at today's Lie-a-Palooza of a briefing.
