SecState Blinken just seconded Biden NatSec adviser's comment a week ago about Middle East stability

Before getting into more WTF moments from a couple of President Biden's "Top Men," here's an Israel update from Leah Barkoukis over at Townhall

Israeli forces have regained “full control” of the towns Hamas terrorists infiltrated over the weekend, Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said Monday in a press briefing, though there could still be some terrorists in the area.

The update comes after at least 700 Israelis were killed and more than 2,400 wounded in Hamas’ unprecedented invasion of the country on Saturday.

"We are now carrying out searches in all of the communities and clearing the area," Hagari added.

After conducting an assessment with the IDF Southern Command, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said he “ordered a full siege on the Gaza Strip. No power, no food, no gas, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly."

News reports now say that air raid sirens can be heard in Jerusalem.

This brings me to Biden's NatSec adviser Jake Sullivan, who made comments prior to the Hamas attack on Israel that are aging like a glass of milk in the summer sun:

But of course, none of these people will ever admit that they were (or are) wrong about anything, which means a different administration official will come along to double down on a previous claim. This weekend that person was Antony Blinken, who told CNN "Sullivan was right" (note use of the word "was"):

"Was right" -- not now, but was a whole week ago. Unreal.

Nope. After all, these people work for the same White House that's still trying to convince everybody the economy is doing great and not to believe their own lying eyes, bank accounts and grocery bills.

This administration is full of people who have failed upward.

In another "Top Men" moment, Blinken deleted this tweet that was sent after Israel started to retaliate for the attacks:

Does it seem like things have gone straight to hell since Biden took office and put these clowns into positions of power, or is it just me?
