Is this Adam Schiff's way of condemning Dem Rep's anti-Semitic comments about Israel?

Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal again tried to prove her Squadmember mettle by making anti-Semitic comments about Israel.

Jayapal called Israel a "racist state"

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, denounced Israel as a “racist state” in a speech over the weekend, kicking up a firestorm.

The Washington state Democrat harshly condemned the US ally as her appearance at the annual Netroots Nation progressive activist conference in Chicago was interrupted by “Free Palestine” demonstrators.

“As somebody who’s been in the streets and participated in a lot of demonstrations, I want you to know that we have been fighting to make it clear that Israel is a racist state,” she said.

After blowback, Jayapal's office then put out a statement with a word count that clocks in at just under Tolstoy's War and Peace:

Maybe Jayapal's hoping that nobody has time to read all that.

Rep. Adam Schiff, who is also running for Senate, obviously felt he needed to weigh in, but his response to what Jayapal said couldn't possibly be more generic:

Well, that was certainly very carefully played.

These same Dems will also be hoping this story quickly disappears so they can move on.
