In the last few days, the media has ramped up the climate change alarmism (it is, after all, summertime), and of course, none of that happens by sheer coincidence.
Yesterday I covered the Washington Post's attempt to convince everybody the world is going to suffer a fiery demise here:
VIP ==> Arrival of summer causes WaPo to dial climate change panic to eleven (and then some) https://t.co/mWjNNXvN5g

Since then many other media outlets have basically published the same attempt to freak everybody out (again.)
The same pack mentality applies when it comes to the media reporting about political/government figures that somebody has deemed worthy of a simultaneous and totally coincidental positive or negative media campaign.
Today's example is on the positive reporting side and revolves around coverage of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's first term on the bench.

And we're off...
The Washington Post reported on Justice Brown Jackson's "bold debut and independent streak" (via @varadmehta):
Translated: Ketanji Brown Jackson wound up writing angry dissents with little grounding in the law or facts just as everyone predicted she would. https://t.co/JLEfqC5bnU

The New York Times reported that Brown Jackson "wasted no time in finding her footing" on the Court:
The NYT gets on the "Yas, kween" Ketanji Brown Jackson bandwagon. She's clearly being fitted for the RBG pedestal. I'll gladly trade the media and left turning her into an idol in exchange for her being in the minority her entire career. https://t.co/20XpaBsLax

The rave reviews were everywhere, not surprisingly. What a coincidence (from @redsteeze):

It's become cliche to say "they got the memo," but... they all got the memo.
Just look at it. Admire it. Look at them all go, in unison. pic.twitter.com/uvNdKxes5P

You won't be shocked to know that the same Politico reporter who got the Dobbs leak but can't reveal the leaker also got in on the media push to praise the newest SCOTUS member:
Ah weird. Same Politico reporter who had a SCOTUS Dobbs leaker dropped on him and cant reveal it. pic.twitter.com/68bRFWlsaB

Stunning!
Now here's a look at all the positive articles about Clarence Thomas from those same media outlets:
Yep, they're nothing if not predictable.
