An example of how the media is starting to cover Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ policies and successes has been spotted in the Washington Post:
"The last couple weeks also offer a preview of the passionate opposition he would face on a national stage. Democrats say that DeSantis's record on race will mobilize their base and could also be a vulnerability with moderate voters down the road."

We’ve already seen plenty of that media spin, and get ready for it to ramp up as 2024 approaches — especially if DeSantis should decide to run for president. @PoliticalMath outlines what’s happening:
Start watching for this: every single thing about DeSantis is cast as a weakness
He pushes against woke AP curriculum
"this will mobilize the Dem base"
Bans porn in elementary schools
"culture war doesn't poll well"
Attacks DEI in schools and corps
"voters don't like that" https://t.co/ZEjq8M1Sr2

It seems to me that the voters were well aware of the vast majority of these issues before the election and they overwhelmingly voted for DeSantis
This is the "name it and claim it" of political marketing. Perhaps by saying this thing, they can make it true.

We’re not far from a media hot take of “how Gov. DeSantis’ popularity in Florida will hurt him on the national stage.”
"The most overwhelmingly successful Republican politician in the last 2 decades is actually incredibly weak and vulnerable"
ok bro

Does the corporate media actually listen to what they’re saying?
My favorite is: he’s raising too much money to be a good candidate

LOL! The desperation is palpable.
“DeSantis only won because he raised a ton of money.”
Even if that were true, wouldn’t that be yet another reason to nominate him over someone who does not have such an ability?

Heck, if having tons of money was the only issue Michael Bloomberg would have been president.
