Something spotted missing from WaPo's headline about why 'thousands of people filled the streets in Cuba'

The anti-communism/socialism protests in Cuba have caused some in the American media to try and temper what’s really going on. For example, the New York Times said protesters were chanting “freedom,” which, according to the paper, is an “anti-government slogan.” Additionally, Twitter’s news made it sound like the hashtag #SOSCuba was all about Covid-19 concerns while CBS This Morning basically blamed Trump:

Much of the U.S. media is bending over backward to avoid phrasing it that way.
