Governor Ron DeSantis is already the target of some derision from Democrats and the media for the simple crime of keeping his state open while also having dealt with the virus more effectively than other states with Democrat governors and stringent lockdown measures. This will only trigger them more:

Excellent!
You can already hear some heads exploding.
The media is terrified of the possibility of people not being terrified. https://t.co/FM73RbVe2A

And they make that clear every single day (some even flat-out admit it).
The replies to this one are all, "I love my fear, I love my cage. When it's safe = NEVER." https://t.co/z7M2s4D9Mh

Clearly some people are hoping for forever lockdowns and masks — it’s sad.
Owning the libs is literally the easiest thing in the world.
All you have to do is tell them that vaccines work, and they will lose their minds. https://t.co/WldEMDE8m3

That the media and others are freaking out about this shows just how deluded people have become. He's 100% right scientifically. Only 5700 reinfections out 125 million vaccinations. But they don't want you getting back to normal…ever. https://t.co/55PYMbJwNi

He’s exactly right and because he’s exactly right, of course people are freaking out https://t.co/d83pcypWa8

Because so many don’t want the panic to end.
