During James Comey’s testimony before a Senate committee in September, Sen. Ted Cruz noted that the former FBI director’s sworn statement differs from that given by former deputy director Andrew McCabe:
Cruz asks Comey about May 2017 testimony that he'd never been an anonymous source. That he'd never authorized someone else to be an anon source. Notes McCabe says Comey authorized his leaks. Cruz asks Comey who is telling the truth. Comey says he stands by his testimony.

The Texas senator is still trying to get to the bottom of it, and has sent the following letter to the Justice Department and FBI:
NEW: Letter @tedcruz to AG Barr + Director Wray about former Director Comey + former Deputy McCabe’s testimony about their knowledge + approval of 2016 Clinton media leak, “One of them is lying under oath-a federal crime. 18 U.S.C 1621. The American people deserve to know who." pic.twitter.com/kIZvVJqY11

Either McCabe or Comey is lying under oath — which is a federal crime.
The American people deserve the truth.
That’s why I’m calling on the DOJ & FBI to provide any evidence about who authorized and approved of the FBI’s leak to the @WSJ about the Clinton investigation. pic.twitter.com/bE2Jfz8vMy

Hopefully the senator can get to the bottom of it, but for now the DOJ and FBI don’t seem in any rush.
If there's never any justice meted out, criminality will only proliferate, and the perpetrators will only grow more brazen https://t.co/gMoT1jd95Y
