In Portland, Oregon, Mayor Ted Wheeler is addressing a new “autonomous zone” that has popped up in the city.
If you’ve been paying attention to Wheeler’s actions and inactions over the last several months, the tweet below might make you chuckle, or at least shake your head:
I am authorizing the Portland Police to use all lawful means to end the illegal occupation on North Mississippi Avenue and to hold those violating our community’s laws accountable. There will be no autonomous zone in Portland.
