Senator Amy Klobuchar, who endorsed Joe Biden after dropping out of the race for the Democrat nomination, joined the former veep in Grand Rapids, Michigan today.
So good to be in Grand Rapids, Michigan for @joebiden today! People are fired up and ready to go. https://t.co/ZUhQFRzeZv

There’s been some speculation about who Biden’s running mate would be if he does indeed secure the nomination, and Klobuchar helped the rumor mill get buzzing with this comment:
Bit of a Freudian slip…while stumping for @JoeBiden just now in Grand Rapids, MI @amyklobuchar says she “couldn’t think of a better way to end my candidacy than join the ticket…” to big applause. She quickly corrected to say “join the terrific campaign of Joe Biden” pic.twitter.com/axoOR1cX9D

At minimum, this means the conversation about Klobuchar being the VP choice (aka shadow president) has happened. https://t.co/QIBLxtXPv9

We’ll give the “Freudian slip of the day” award to Klobuchar.
Lmao if that’s his VP pick then we’re all in trouble.

Biden: So, do you have any pointers for my VP pick?
Obama: It's got to be someone who can defeat Pence.
Biden: Got it.
*two days later*
Obama: Dammit, Joe. I didn't mean PHYSICALLY DEFEAT him!
Biden: Why not? https://t.co/ggds28U2vs

Then again, maybe Joe’s just hedging his VP bets:
Knowing Joe Biden, I bet he promised everyone the VP position

One WaPo columnist thinks Biden/Klobuchar would be a winner:
Biden "should instead emulate Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign and pick someone with a similar appeal to his own," @henryolsenEPPC writes. https://t.co/iLQmBBeUNz
