For the time being, the articles of impeachment remain in the House of Representatives because Nancy Pelosi would rather hold onto that political football for a while longer rather than hand it off to Mitch McConnell and the Republicans-controlled Senate. But if Pelosi ever does turn the articles over to the Senate, there are many questions about what would happen next.
One of those questions revolves around who would be called to testify. Some would like to see Joe Biden subpoenaed, but the former veep told the Des Moines Register that he wouldn’t comply:
Joe Biden stood by comments that he would not comply with a subpoena to testify at President Trump’s trial in the U.S. Senate. Biden argued that testifying would shift attention away from the president’s own actions. https://t.co/PZFF1UFoiq

Is that so? According to the rules as they’ve been written by Democrats, that means everybody gets to wonder what Biden’s trying to hide:
CNN is gonna be coming down like a ton of bricks on this clear case of obstruction.

Biden won’t find it nearly as helpful when the Left’s playbook is used against him.

So he could be charged with "Obstruction of Congress"
That's the new way—right?

Wouldn’t this mean Joe Biden would be committing “obstruction of Congress” ???????
I’ve been told that’s an impeachable offense. https://t.co/uPMWmBfTPC

There might only be one solution:
Guess we have to pre-impeach him…just in case https://t.co/S2dTnwlaRE
