'Bye bye': Dem Rep in district Trump won says she'll vote for impeachment

Most House Democrats are expected to vote for the two articles of impeachment against President Trump. However, we told you last week about one Dem who will reportedly be switching parties over the impeachment issue while eyes are on other Democrats in districts considered unsafe.

One of those Democrats, Rep. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, has announced her decision on impeachment:

Slotkin is being thanked by Democrats for putting “country over politics” (it’s most likely the other way around), but others are saying she just ended her political career. Here’s why:

Slotkin can spend the next few days enjoying the applause from Democrats, but what will that mean for her re-election chances? Place your bets!

Slotkin would no doubt rather lose the election than be shunned by her party (and the liberal media) for the rest of her political life.

Next November we’ll find out what the voters in her district think of all this.
