Democrats taking control of the Virginia legislature and having a narrow victory (pending possible recount) in the Kentucky gubernatorial race has Democrats and the media believing there could be some anti-Trump sentiment developing. With that in mind, former Bush 43 spokesman Ari Fleischer has added some context that could dump cold water on the Dems’ excitement:
To put the political consequences of the Trump presidency into perspective, since Trump was elected, Rs have lost 329 seats in state legislatures. At the same point in the Obama presidency, Ds lost 768 seats. MSM is exaggerating election 2019. A little perspective is needed.

Yep, that sure puts things into perspective!
Yes, and some attrition is customary, no?

Thank you Mr. Fleischer for putting it in perspective.

.@AriFleischer with the reality check that CNN and MSNBC could use, but are purposefully ignoring because they have narratives that they've long decided on and need to be pushed https://t.co/YmjfA3WolS

And they’ll keep pushing those narratives, regardless of reality.
