As you’re probably aware, Fox News has quite an advantage over CNN in the cable news ratings, and at least some of that has to be due to Brian Stelter’s constant and loyal viewership. Sunday night, Stelter noticed a difference in what Fox News was airing versus CNN and MSNBC:
Quite a contrast: CNN is airing "White House in Crisis: The Impeachment Inquiry." MSNBC is covering impeachment, with a similar special coming up later this evening. And Fox is running an hour-long ad for its right-wing streaming service Fox Nation.

The “because we’re serious news” shtick was immediately called out:
Didn't you guys just do tweet spelling errors?
Why don't you sit out for a spell. https://t.co/MWGYatVOsQ— The Punned-it. (@REMattersAZ) November 4, 2019
You covered the President's spelling mistakes and fact checked the nature of the death of a terrorist this morning… https://t.co/Xj2TW6OBBF

Does anybody from CNN ever watch CNN?

Too bad Fox News can’t get serious about the real news! *Eye roll*
Brian your show this morning was about Trump misspelling “councel” on Twitter dot com https://t.co/uvvaL2b88Y

Broke: fact checking
Woke: spell checking

Dude… you were whining about typos this morning. https://t.co/JQltibIOOA
— Adam Lema (@Nockahoma) November 4, 2019
Fact check: TRUE.
Stelter thinks all three cable TV news networks should cover all the same stories with all the same political bent. https://t.co/Q9Vdva8Lka

Brian, your recent impeachment coverage included Robert De Niro. You should probably pump the brakes on the Very Serious Journalist™ shtick. https://t.co/myy272OLwH

And Fox will still have higher ratings than the two liberal networks combined https://t.co/3Bp8qQQozy
— Storm Paglia ?? (@storm_paglia) November 4, 2019
That goes almost without saying.
Good chance the infomercial on Fox will have higher ratings. https://t.co/mzNHK3kWAJ

Gee, Fox promoting their own program, what a novel concept. You're a moron https://t.co/nEQlSYzkBh
— David C ???️?? (@oaty_3) November 4, 2019
And Fox will probably still beat them both in the ratings. ?♀️

Amazing and important work you are doing using your CNN national news show to spellcheck Trump’s spelling of “lightweight,” @brianstelter https://t.co/dr53hryDJ2 pic.twitter.com/HNiGAjEP6x

They spent 2 years on the stupid Russia collusion story.
Now they're mad because Fox isn't playing along with the impeachment obsession.
I think we know what's really frustrating Brian. https://t.co/OznORbQvQE
