The wheels recently fell off a pregnancy story that Elizabeth Warren had grown fond of telling, but that isn’t stopping the media from circling the wagons from taking the “conservatives pounce” (or even “latch”) approach. Meanwhile, the Washington Post offered this defense of Warren:
Conservatives claim Elizabeth Warren lied about pregnancy firing. Women reality checked them on social media. https://t.co/oQwcv4NVZK

Why in the world would anybody ever think the media has a pro-lefty bias?
Unless they witnessed Warren getting canned in '71, or unless they got fired by the same principal, this is not a "reality check." https://t.co/ecE0X9uVkc

We highly doubt a conservative caught in a lie would ever be the recipient of that kind of spin from the MSM:
"It happens. Therefore, this happened." #journalism

This is the logic of a four-year-old at work here. Nobody is saying pregnancy discrimination doesn't happen; the question is whether a presidential candidate lied about being the victim of pregnancy discrimination https://t.co/274UTQRu11

They know that, and the above defense is the best they’ve got, but it beats just coming out and saying Warren lied:
The media doin the Jussie Smollett defense all over again.

What in the hell kind of logic is this?
"She specifically lied about her firing."
"You're wrong because other women actually were fired for that reason!"
What? That's not how truth works.

The Post’s “reality check” got reality checked big time.
Wow the woman in this video really reality checked those “conservatives pouncing” pic.twitter.com/YUqWERg6gV

Your continued attempt at white knighting for someone who is actually lying shows that advocacy, not journalism, is your stock in trade. Now please delete your worthless account. https://t.co/lM03M3md6b

The nice thing about being a Democrat is you can lie through your teeth about something and every news outlet in America will run cover for you https://t.co/k7j4MCHqog

This is some trash journalism

Conservatives Claimed A Common Thing That Happened Maybe Didn't Happen To This One Person This One Time. Liberals Reality Checked Them By Agreeing That In Fact It Certainly Happened To Other People. Cons=Owned. https://t.co/MVOzIT3A3l

Imagine how little @emrosenberg thinks of Washington Post readers to write this nonsense…
"A bunch of other women wrote that they were victims of pregnancy discrimination so it's a smear to consider evidence Warren may be lying about being a victim of similar discrimination" https://t.co/F0nMSdNFPw

So y’all receiving cash or payroll checks from Warren’s campaign? If this is your attempt at journalism…. learn to code

You DNC stenographers don't care whether it actually happened to her or not. The narrative must go on.

I can’t believe most Americans think journalists are deceitful, two-faced partisan hacks. https://t.co/52utkfEXgN

It’s a total mystery why people think the MSM largely consists of pro-Dem hacks.
