It all started with Sarah Silverman challenging the manhood of sport hunters:

Geraldo Rivera took Silverman’s swipe at hunters a step further and applied it to people who own AR-15s:

Does Rivera think women don’t own AR-15s, or was he just pretending that’s the case to preserve the “joke”? In either case, he was informed that not only males own AR-15s:
