As we told you last night, Reuters got some blowback for leaving some important context out of their tweet about this photo:
Reuters photo captures Guatemalan mother begging soldier to let her enter U.S https://t.co/E088sJjSsG pic.twitter.com/EDfzluASe0
— Reuters Top News (@Reuters) July 26, 2019
As it turned out, the photo was taken in Mexico, the soldier is from Mexico, and the soldier wasn’t stopping her:
ohhh wait, he wasn't even stopping her and this whole thing is stupid pic.twitter.com/5oS0Ve1Gb8

The those facts aren’t lede-worthy, CBS News also demonstrated today:
Dramatic photo captures migrant mom pleading with border guard to let her enter the U.S. with her son https://t.co/STlGDDWaYb pic.twitter.com/U4WA3xTL88
— CBS News (@CBSNews) July 26, 2019
The media’s been really earning itself a sterling reputation lately:
In Propaganda Photo, Woman asks Mexican Soldier if She Can Please Break Law
— Razor (@hale_razor) July 26, 2019
Mexican soldier. Looks like CBS “forgot” this in the headline.
— ShredderGirl (@ShredderBabe) July 26, 2019
It was a Mexican guard. The woman then ran across the US border while he had his back turned, even though she knew she wasn’t supposed to. But go on with your clickbait headline.

There's just one problem…this is in Mexico, not the U.S. and she's an illegal in Mexico…

You guys are so cute trying to imply it's the US https://t.co/RuNFCWX3Ml

The Dems can always count on the media to help push their narrative no matter how much “journalism” they have to put on the back burner.

Dear @CBSNews: Twitter lets us use 280 characters now. You might have heard. So you had plenty of room to put the word "Mexican" in front of the words "border guard".
If you were a news organization and not a propaganda outfit, that's what you would have done. https://t.co/JGEkpyAESu

Just weeks after DNC Media lost its collective mind over an economic migrant who got himself and his child killed while crossing a river, it tries to manufacture an outrage storm over a (Mexican) trooper warning a migrant with a child not to attempt a dangerous border crossing. https://t.co/MjviBeSRLR

So @CBSNews has no intention of mentioning this was a Mexican National Guard soldier. Got it. https://t.co/KcIGLISBeo

For the record, they've added "Mexican National Guard" to the article, but not deleted the tweet and put up a correction. https://t.co/KcIGLISBeo

The original Reuters tweet remains as well.
