We told you yesterday that ABC News’ Martha Raddatz performed an act of journalism during her interview of Rashida Tlaib and the Rep’s spin on why she voted against the $4.6 billion emergency border funding bill. Raddatz has Tlaib cornered, but Tlaib presented this as one reason she decided against voting for the funding bill:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib defends voting against $4.6 billion emergency border bill: "Three agents took me aside, away from my colleagues and said, 'more money is not going to fix this," adding, "they all said this is a broken system." https://t.co/hPwYH6mm4T pic.twitter.com/YIeDsRO0nu

Tlaib, AOC and others on the Left don’t believe what the Border Patrol says when they defend themselves against their accusations but Tlaib heard something from them she believes without question because it fits her narrative? For some reason, many are skeptical:

Things that didn't happen: Three agents secretly told her money won't fix this.

How convenient they took you away from everyone else where nobody could corroborate your claims. https://t.co/yqNUoXbhyD

I was in a hipster coffee shop yesterday and overheard a group of CBP agents saying the exact same thing. https://t.co/HauiJCiLjD

It is broken, Einstein @RashidaTlaib. But until you geniuses in Congress fix it, you have to fund the care of people storming the border.
Honestly, a 5 year old could figure that out. https://t.co/o5h8obmxrG

Oh how convenient. They “took” her away to tell her that. We didn’t fall off the turnip truck lady and her are one of the top 3 congresswomen running for liar of the year. ABC, are you seriously buying this.

The Dems are making something quite clear:
These dems want the border crisis to stay as a crisis so it can benefit their 2020 election agenda https://t.co/wi4uZtATeb

But at least new ground seems to have been broken in one area:
It’s not too often you hear a Democrat say more money will not fix a problem. I’m impressed. https://t.co/r9zvFULiJF

LOLOL… This would be the first time a Democrat claims that money wouldn't fix anything that's wrong… https://t.co/lX36QgycAR
