Writer/producer of 'Chernobyl' thanks Stephen King for making it about Trump

A mini-series that’s running on HBO, “Chernobyl,” depicts the horrors following the explosion at one of the reactors at the Vladimir I. Lenin Power Station near the city of Pripyat, Ukraine in April of 1986. Author Stephen King felt compelled to tie it to President Trump:

That’s weird though, because a lot of the show is about protecting “the state” and centralized power at all cost, which sounds more like, well, not Trump.
