It was bound to happen at some point — and frankly we’re a bit surprised one of the first Judiciary Committee Dems to do so wasn’t one of the presidential candidates — but Sen. Mazie Hirono called on Attorney General Bill Barr to resign:

However, Hirono didn’t seem to expect Barr to resign immediately, because she had a list of talking points to share:
"You should resign," Sen. Hirono said.
Then she says, "I have some questions for you."

After Hirono went on reciting a pre-written monologue, committee chair Lindsey Graham had heard enough:

Hirono had no interest in anything but trying to resuscitate a Dem narrative that has sunk.
Her grandstanding is ridiculous, not shocking, and why so many Americans are disgusted by our elected officials. My children are more respectful than she is. Listening today, I'm having flashbacks to when Justice K was in front of this committee.
