'Beyond dishonest': Rep. Ilhan Omar's tweet-slams on Kirstjen Nielsen & Trump's 'animals' remark get fact-checked into oblivion

As you know, DHS Director Kirstjen Nielsen has submitted her resignation. Running parallel to that story is the anti-Trump Resistance (and some in the media) continuing to fail to provide full context to President Trump referring to MS-13 gang members as “animals” last year. Rep. Ilhan Omar took some big swings for the “fake news” fences with a serious of tweets today:

Kirstjen Nielsen was responsible for:

-Locking toddlers in cages
-The death of a 7 year-old on her agency’s watch
-Repeatedly lying about taking children from their mothers

Now this President wants someone even "tougher." This should be a warning to all who believe in justice.

The acting DHS Secretary commanded the CBP officers who physically separated over 2,800 children from their parents

He was in charge when CBP fired tear gas on a crowd of migrants seeking asylum

He failed to disclose details about the death of a child in CBP custody to Congress

Meanwhile, the President is calling asylum seekers “animals” and saying our country is “full.”

This is dehumanization, plain and simple. We cannot continue to ignore the echoes of some of the most violent moments in history.

Forget that the angle many on the Left are pushing about Trump’s “animals” comment has been debunked. It fits the narrative so obviously Rep. Omar is among those who will continue to push it.

This is a complain over him not disclosing it in testimony he had before Congress, but he wasn't asked about it and it wasn't relevant to his testimony at the time.
