Democrat mega-donor Tom Steyer has some criticism for fellow billionaire and possible presidential candidate Howard Schultz on taxes and “patriotism”:
.@HowardSchultz isn't ready for prime time. His knee-jerk rejection of a wealth tax shows why. We can't end inequality until people like Howard & me are required to invest our fair share into our country. It's not "punitive"—it's patriotic.

Why wait for Schultz to also call for higher taxes on billionaires when he could Steyer more patriotic IMMEDIATELY?
Why wait til you’re “required”? Why don’t you go ahead and donate as much as you think is your “fair share”?

Right? How “patriotic” can sending the government more money really be if he needs to be forced to do it?
Write the check Tommy Boy, no one is stopping you..

What's stopping you from writing a check to the govt for what you think you should pay in taxes? Better yet just donate it to several charities, they'll do a hell of a better job spending it than the govt. https://t.co/eye7SsSkJf

Tom, why don't you do your part to end inequality by voluntarily redistributing your own wealth until it's down to the U.S. median (under $100k)?
This would convince evil skeptics who might think you're just a virtue-signaler. https://t.co/93ySy4TvY7

Steyer should lead by example! He’s even been given a direct link to make it easier to alleviate his guilt:

If Steyer thinks the U.S. treasury deserves his money then maybe he should send it to them instead of giving tens of millions of dollars to Democrats every election cycle.
