As we told you this afternoon, President Trump responded to Nancy Pelosi’s request to postpone his State of the Union speech to Congress with a letter telling the House Speaker that because of the shutdown government planes would not be available, and Dems would have to make private arrangements for travel. This put an immediate hold on a trip Dems had planned for today:

Meanwhile, on CNN, triggering — so much triggering:

Leading the way was CNN’s intrepid Resistance journo Jim Acosta, who called Trump’s response “childish,” among other things:
Video: Behold the latest Jim @Acosta meltdown! He lost his mind over Trump cancelling Pelosi's overseas trip, calling it a sign that D.C. is 'a playground' and that Trump's being 'childish' and 'not really a serious response' pic.twitter.com/r7MekcGFxr

And there were others from CNN who seemed displeased with Trump:
If you thought this shutdown was close to being over, the House Speaker suggested the president cancel his address to Congress and he responded by inviting her to fly commercial into a war zone.

Pelosi was slated to leave this afternoon on overseas official travel, per multiple sources. Hoyer said Trump’s move “demeans the presidency,” calling it “petty”

Trump traveled to Iraq, Louisiana and Texas during the shutdown. And he kept his Iraq trip secret until he landed.

Pass that popcorn and keep it coming!
I must have imagined these same people YAS QUEENing Pelosi's "power move" yesterday.

When Dems do things like that, the MSM applauds in approval, but don’t dare question their objectivity!
