MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow shared a bit of news that should be of particular interest to those who believe that there should be more women in positions of government power:
All three CIA directorates will now be headed by women https://t.co/hKzlQaVpOu

All together now…
Just like a handmaid's tale

But even though you’d think that might be a welcome sign (especially in the age of the president the Resistance tries to portray as bad for women), there are many who aren’t impressed in the least:
Really hope that oppressed women in Muslim nations appreciate that the drone above their heads was sent by empowered women. https://t.co/nurKeRge3c

I LOVE YOUR WORK! But truly and respectfully, I couldn’t care less if the person running the show was male, female, black, white, ethnic, straight or LGBTQ. After two years of the toddler and the mess in front of us, we need BRAINS, DEDICATION AND TRUTH, not torture and agendas.

But the CIA director is awful! I’d rather see more fit women in power.

Too bad one of them is cruela deville https://t.co/ShqjYJpqRa

But just look at the three. Is Any One of them qualified, or know wtf they are doing except enabling the dismantling of democracy? So I ask @maddow, AT WHAT PRICE? https://t.co/q4UBlVWLu5

Once upon a time I thought the world would be a better place if women were running it. I may have to adjust accordingly. https://t.co/rztQbwqME9

I would normally champion such a move, but they are Trump appointments after all https://t.co/o1iZelg8IY

Now women can be recognized as war criminals too! Yay feminism? https://t.co/PN80ukIuoL

Are all of them torturers or just Gina Haspel? #diversity#USTortureProgram https://t.co/7zcZrg7Llz

Why are more women in higher ranking government positions suddenly a bad thing?
Trump appointed them.

Ah, of course!
