This week, Ellen Degeneres interviewed comedian Kevin Hart and was sympathetic to his expression of regret for past comments that caused him to back out of hosting the Academy Awards next month. If CNN’s Don Lemon gets a vote, put him down as a definite “no” to Hart’s possible return as planned host:
"Apologizing and moving on does not make the world a better place for people who are gay or people who are transgender, being an ally does," says CNN's @DonLemon, reacting to the Oscars' openness to Kevin Hart's return https://t.co/ITGU3Uj2ez pic.twitter.com/4u48sfBF0U

@RedSteeze had an alternate suggestion for a host, since people can’t seem to agree:
Just have Don Lemon host the dumb show. Watch the ratings soar. https://t.co/XcmJ5H77Ut

Just something for the Academy Awards to consider!
The Oscars should be a learning experience where our betters teach us what is appropriate to laugh at and what is no longer acceptable.
Ratings gold!

The Oscars would be ensured at ratings at least as good as CNN’s.
