'Oh please'! Guess why Brian Stelter thinks the press might be 'failing' the public (Hint: Ramp up the Trump obsession)

CNN’s obsession with Donald Trump has even been panned by journos like former “Nightline” anchor Ted Koppel, but Brian Stelter didn’t agree with that criticism. In actuality, Stelter wonders if media outlets should be even more obsessed with covering Trump news and rumors, and thinks journos might be derelict in their duties:

Does the public understand just how much trouble the president is in? If not, that's a failing of the press… pic.twitter.com/hAoTnZqCxP

As for CNN, they couldn’t possibly talk about Trump more, so we’re not sure what Stelter has in mind as far as turning up the anti-Trump alarm.

This is tater complaining that people have lost interest in 24/7 Trump bashing

It's what happens when you cry wolf all the time. Exhibit A: https://t.co/hjfU81bhsL

The conclusion drawn will be to cry wolf a lot louder and more often.

Does this sound like an impartial press to you?
Media: “Why you shouldn’t support the president and if you still do we haven’t done a good enough job trying to destroy him the last two years.” https://t.co/OQhpbp69bn

Stop over hyping every….. little…..freaking……detail. Report the facts then do an overview show at the end of the day.

I've tuned it out, and I have a semi-professional interest in paying attention to it. Most people do not care.

But we thought it was a threat to democracy to criticize the media. How confusing!
