As Twitchy told you Thursday afternoon, actress/comedian Amy Schumer, a relative of Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer, was detained during protests at the Hart Senate Building:
Trainwreck: Chuck Schumer relative Amy Schumer among Kavanaugh-triggered protesters detained at Senate building https://t.co/onGp1bj39M

Schumer was among many arrested for misdemeanor offenses:
Capitol police said 293 protestors were arrested in the protest at the Hart Senate Office Building atrium, and nine were arrested in a demonstration at the fourth floor of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. All were charged with crowding, obstructing, or incommoding — a misdemeanor.
Does that sound like a story that could have taken place in the old Soviet Union? If so you’re in agreement with Molly Ringwald:
Protest and get arrested? This is what Fascism looks like.https://t.co/Y4DrVnHmVt

Really? Maybe it depends on how loose your definition of “fascism” is:
This is not what fascism looks like. She was arrested for not cooperating with the police, who had asked the group of protesters to not sit down in the hall.

Molly ringwald, do even know what fascism means? #becomeeducated

It seems that Schumer even invited the “fascism” to take place:
Mollie there is video of her ASKING TO GET ARRESTED!

Oh Stop!! She was politely asked if she wanted to b arrested. Your tweet is what #fakenews looks like

Cops asked her if she wanted to go to jail.
Amy: "YES"
Hardly fascism!
She gave her consent.
But, by all means….carry on with the narrative
