On Fox News’ “Outnumbered,” Lisa Marie Boothe hammered Democrats about illegal immigration in the wake of the murder of Mollie Tibbetts:

Former John Kerry adviser at the State Department, Marie Harf, took offense after Boothe said that the Democrats make protecting illegals a top priority:
Marie Harf: "Democrats of course want to keep American citizens safe. The idea that they don't is completely unfair." #Outnumbered pic.twitter.com/rpb6rpmt1N

Is that so?

Seriously? Dems have a funny way of showing it that's for sure… https://t.co/as3Zj1kJA2

FACT CHECK: Mostly False. Democrats are more concerned about advancing their ideology than keeping Americans safe. https://t.co/7IAvtGZjyM

Where would anybody get the idea that Democrats make people in the country illegally a top priority? Well, Nancy Pelosi, just for starters:

Or maybe Elizabeth Warren:

If Democrats want to stop being accused of making protecting illegal immigrants a top priority maybe their party leaders shouldn’t stop making it look that way.
