When self-described socialists like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez call for “free” stuff, one of the first questions that comes to the minds of many is “how would the country pay for all that?”
Free Beacon managing editor David Rutz noticed a certain lack of immediate interest in covering that important question when Bernie Sanders was interviewed on “CBS This Morning”:
At the end of this @CBSThisMorning interview of @SenSanders, co-host @biannagolodryga notes there are questions for how to pay for things like Medicare for All, free public colleges, but sadly, there is no time to ask Sanders about that. pic.twitter.com/uHqHcYObnC

Doesn’t it seem like “how to pay for all that” should be one of the first things covered when talking about Sanders & Ocasio-Cortez’s proposals for achieving a socialist utopia?
Should that have been the FIRST QUESTION???

Imagine my surprise. ?

Always out of time when the topic of paying for them comes up. ?

There are trillions and trillions of reasons some people aren’t eager to discuss that particular question.
