As we told you earlier, Rep. Trey Gowdy took FBI agent Peter Strzok to the woodshed over his anti-Trump texts during an investigation he was involved in. During Gowdy’s questioning, Strzok was spotted contradicting himself when being questioned by Gowdy about one text in particular:
At 3:19 of this video Strzok explains what he meant in the "We'll stop it" text
At 3:47 of this video Strzok says "I don't recall writing that text."And now you know why journalists have decided to go after Gowdy instead. https://t.co/DZaYsF3XUR

This is called “turning on a dime”:
Peter Strzok: "That text in no way suggested that I or the FBI would take any action to influence the candidacy…"
.@tgowdysc: "That is a fantastic answer to a question nobody asked."

Also it’s worth noting that Strzok went from “I wrote it” at 3:40 to “I don’t recall writing that text” just about ten seconds later.
Here's a CSPAN video, completely unedited without Wash Post or CNN snark attached to it. Watch it for yourself. Man Mueller dodged an enormous bullet dropping this baggage.

You can defend Mueller's investigation without dying on the hill of Peter Strozk's disastrous public outing.. Try it.
