After the Parkland shooting, and before all the facts were known, CNN nevertheless held a town hall-style meeting where they gave Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and many in the audience a platform to go after Dana Loesch and the NRA. The failings of local authorities soon came to light, and after all the coverage of anti-NRA points of view following the shooting, we get this about disgraced deputy Scot Peterson, who waited outside while the shooter went about his rampage inside:

Would it be too much for CNN to sound at least half as critical of Peterson (and Sheriff Israel) as they have been of a gun rights organization that had nothing to do with the shooting?
