As we told you earlier today, Sen. Dianne Feinstein is very troubled by President Trump saying he intends to demand that the Justice Department investigate “whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump campaign for political purposes.”
The president's statement indicating that he will order the Justice Department to investigate the FBI could not be more disturbing and reiterates his deep contempt for the rule of law.

The Justice Department is not an arm of the White House. The Justice Department is independent and serves the American people. Its job is to follow the facts and the law. Law enforcement investigations must be initiated and carried out free from political interference.

The DOJ is not it’s own branch of government.
Congress created it.
It falls under the Executive Branch.
The person in charge of that branch is called the President.
