Speaking about illegal immigration and MS-13 today, President Trump made this comment:
“These aren’t people. These are animals,” Trump says in response to a question about the MS-13 gang during his roundtable on sanctuary cities. “… because of the weak laws, they come in fast” https://t.co/FfO3D5ug97

Trump discussing MS-13, “you wouldn’t believe how bad some of these people are. These aren’t people — they’re animals.” https://t.co/xjH8MJoqj9

MS-13 are “animals,” Trump said. Got that? In helping explain California Gov. Jerry Brown’s criticism of Trump, NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell did a solid for the anti-Trump Resistance when translating what the president actually said:
? @realDonaldTrump is lying on immigration, lying about crime and lying about the laws of CA. Flying in a dozen Republican politicians to flatter him and praise his reckless policies changes nothing. We, the citizens of the fifth largest economy in the world, are not impressed.

A tough take down by the California governor after @realDonaldTrump calls people trying to get into the country "animals" not people. https://t.co/LPKiHPJaWZ
— Andrea Mitchell (@mitchellreports) May 16, 2018
Oh really?
That’s not what he said & not even remotely close to the context. The animals comment was in response to concerns about MS-13. Backing MS-13 over Trump isn’t the media narrative road I’d go down but this is going to be another rake so have at it https://t.co/XBMhVIb4ww

Nowhere near what he actually said and totally out of context. #Journalism https://t.co/tO8d7gPD2W

Welcome back to “journalism” in the post-Obama Trump era!
You're all flat out lying about what he said. This is amazing.

Narrator: Trump didn't actually say that.

And the MSM actually wonders why people view them with complete skepticism?
