Resistance LETDOWN: New Yorker writer has a BIG Schneiderman buzzkill for anti-Trump conspiracy theorists

Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman stepped down from that job after it was reported that numerous women have accused him of physical abuse. Schneiderman, part of the #MeToo movement who participated in the Women’s March, was a fast-rising hero of the anti-Trump “Resistance.” Samantha Bee even likened him to a Democrat superhero. But Schneiderman’s cape wasn’t attached very well, and soon fell off.

The fall of Schneiderman brought with it accusations that he was somehow set up by the other side, but a writer for the magazine that broke the story (who co-wrote the story with Ronan Farrow) delivered some bad news to any Resistance warriors hoping that was the case:

So much for that conspiracy theory.

Right!?
