RUH ROH! Florida attorney general accuses Broward County sheriff of lying to state officials [video]

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel is facing calls to resign over his department’s response (or lack thereof) to the shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida. The sheriff placed immediate blame on the NRA during a CNN town hall, but has dodged and deflected questions about his own level of accountability.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi slammed the Broward sheriff and his department, accusing them of being dishonest with state officials including the governor:

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi says the @BrowardSheriff's office "weren’t honest with me, nor were they honest with the governor."

When asked if a stand down order was given, Bondi responded: "I can't talk about that." pic.twitter.com/uPuiL6r4Ch

Is Sheriff Israel’s time running out? Stay tuned!

I really hope that Pam makes sure Americans know the truth. I know she didn't confirm a "Stand Down" order, but she didn't deny it either. That tells us everything we need to know. #FireScottIsrael https://t.co/E6MYG98ZJA
