Democrats Sen. Brian Schatz of Hawaii is among those who blame the NRA for the school shooting in Florida:

Eliminating gun free school zones and arming teachers is literally insane and based on the NRA business model that the solution to gun violence is to sell more guns.

Does anybody do more to sell guns than Democrats threatening gun control and some liberals even calling for the 2nd Amendment to be done away with? That aside, President Trump expressed today a willingness to work with the other side of the aisle on the issue:
