As Twitchy has told you, the New York Daily News has been getting hammered for this cover that is beyond shameless:
The Florida shooting suspect was on an NRA-funded school rifle team https://t.co/6pZqrtZMRD

The high school’s JROTC program received a grant from the NRA, and that’s the direct connection the paper drew from that detail. Dana Loesch rolled up the Daily News and smacked them on the nose with it:
The funding was to ROTC. The same ROTC students used Kevlar padding to protect their classmates. But truth doesn’t matter to you. https://t.co/yXnv6nL47o https://t.co/DVizpq8Ods

The Daily News could have shined a light on some heroes but instead opted to push the Left’s narrative:
2 JROTC students at Stoneman Douglas describe how they led & protected classmates from the shooting by shielding them with kevlar mats they had from JROTC. Many lives were probably saved thanks to the leadership of these JROTC students during the shooting.pic.twitter.com/y5AGLULrsd

The @NYDailyNews wasn’t interested in making these heroic young men the cover, though. https://t.co/Zh2bttPWfc

Way to go, Daily News.
