At a press conference yesterday, Donald Trump shut down CNN reporter Jim Acosta, accusing his organization of peddling “fake news,” and refused to answer his question.
Texas Republican Rep. Randy Weber would like to see further steps taken against Acosta:
The CNN reporter who was disruptive to the press briefing, & disrespectful to Trump-should be fired & prohibited from any press briefings.

Fox News’ Shep Smith was among those troubled by Trump’s response to CNN’s Acosta, and a Vox correspondent saw Trump’s snub as the beginning of the end of freedom of the press. Though opinions do vary:
Nowhere in this document does it say CNN or any press gets to talk over and yell over others because they think they should be called on https://t.co/Z1vq3x8iSy

Notice "Congress shall make no law…" This doesn't say that a douchecanoe shouting down the president-elect can't be removed from the room. https://t.co/7EUlpYc4yj
