Attn. MSM! Another reporter has been shut out by a politician (not by Trump though)

Hi, @jaketapper
About that whole, "Elected officials need to respect #1A " thing you mentioned today? https://t.co/clBmZVdUS3

Donald Trump snubbing CNN reporter Jim Acosta has much of the media in an uproar. When when it comes to shutting out reporters, the media has been alerted that Donald Trump isn’t alone, as evidenced by Politico reporter Eliana Johnson:

.@CoryBooker blocked me on Twitter, I assume for reporting unflattering pieces about him. Kind of amazing. pic.twitter.com/sTH1BxcQ3p

Media, do your stuff!

Waiting for the media to start screaming about @CoryBooker's treatment of the press.

Maybe they’ll get to it … eventually.

It doesn’t look like the “media” are going to be quick in coming to Johnson’s defense, if Soledad O’Brien’s response is any indicator:

Serious question–why are you surprised when someone blocks you? https://t.co/PtbI9hc9i5

— Soledad O'Brien (@soledadobrien) January 12, 2017

Only surprised when that "someone" is a United States senator who spoke yesterday about the need for more love and healing.

— Eliana Johnson (@elianayjohnson) January 12, 2017

maybe his way to love and healing is to block unpleasantness? I am always surprised when people are shocked I blocked them.

The question wheel goes round and round:

Serious question: Don't you think it's beneath a US Senator to block a mainstream journalist in retaliation for unflattering coverage? https://t.co/37JJm0AqKS
