Yesterday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren had strong words for non-transparent public officials and politicians who are also in the pockets of their big money donors:
Government should be accountable to the people, not Wall Street lobbyists, deep-pocketed donors, and secretive Super PACs.

Ironically enough, later in the day, Warren endorsed Hillary Clinton for president:

Cronyism is bad as far as Warren is concerned, unless of course Hillary does it.
We’re guessing this won’t be nearly enough to convince Warren to un-endorse Hillary:

Clinton cronyism existed in the Hillary-led State Department? No way!
Newly released State Department emails help reveal how a major Clinton Foundation donor was placed on a sensitive government intelligence advisory board even though he had no obvious experience in the field, a decision that appeared to baffle the department’s professional staff.
The emails further reveal how, after inquiries from ABC News, the Clinton staff sought to “protect the name” of the Secretary, “stall” the ABC News reporter and ultimately accept the resignation of the donor just two days later.
Bonus Clinton points: The advisory board was a sensitive position and involved nuclear weapon technology:

Hillary might fear Donald Trump having access to the nuclear button, but she obviously had no problem with cronies on intelligence advisory boards with no related experience.
